“DRONE LINE” – an initiative launched by the President of Ukraine, aimed at scaling and integrating the most effective unmanned systems into the combat operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This project helps our defenders carry out the toughest tasks, significantly increasing their combat capability and effectiveness on the battlefield.
MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE “DRONE LINE”:
creating a kill zone 10-15 km deep, where the enemy cannot advance without losses;
providing infantry with constant air cover, reconnaissance, and drone support;
early detection and destruction of enemy targets before they approach Ukrainian positions.
This project plays a key role in modern warfare, making the Ukrainian army even more technological, mobile, and lethal to the enemy.
UNITS:
427th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “Rarog”
“Rarog” is a new level of development — from a company to a regiment. More experience, technology, and resources. We guarantee effective management and support, quality training and support from fellow soldiers. 20th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “K-2”
The “K-2” unit grew from a small reconnaissance group into a separate regiment. Using the latest technology, progressive tactics of using unmanned systems, and skilled management, it has inflicted significant losses on the enemy. 414th Separate Brigade of Unmanned Strike Aviation Systems “Madyar's Birds”
“Madyar's Birds” is a technological unit of strike aviation systems, created in the summer of 2022. Destroying the enemy, electronic reconnaissance, electronic warfare, remote mining, patrolling, and fire correction — they can do it all. 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “Achilles”
“Achilles” is one of the most modern strike and reconnaissance UAV units. Over two years of using unmanned systems, it has shown significant results — over 20,000 destroyed targets. The regiment has a closed-cycle infrastructure: linear EW/SIGINT units, air defense, drone and ammunition workshops, an R&D center, and more. All commanders are combat veterans who rose from soldier to officer. In 2023, according to the Central Unmanned Systems Directorate, it ranked among the top three UAV units. Main Unmanned Aerial Systems Department “Phoenix” of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine
“Phoenix” is a benchmark of reliability and professionalism. Created in August 2024, the department quickly proved its effectiveness. We are now on a path of continuous improvement. Our mission is to stop the enemy where the Ukrainian sun rises.
VACANCIES
“DRONE LINE” is looking for specialists ready to change the course of the war!
The project needs UAV operators, engineers, medics, IT specialists, clerks, and other professionals who want to contribute to the development of a modern army. Whatever your role — piloting drones or paperwork — you'll be working with cutting-edge technology and digital tools.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THE “DRONE LINE”
A specialized combat application program for unmanned platforms has been developed for “Drone Line” participants and officially approved by the General Staff. It's designed so that every soldier, regardless of prior experience, can master all the skills needed for effective service in unmanned systems units.
What does the training include?
A practical approach — the main focus is on practicing real combat scenarios based on experience from operations in eastern Ukraine and the Kursk direction.
Tactical training — training in combat operations using drones.
Working with UAVs — mastering unmanned systems, their setup, and combat use.
Countering enemy drones — learning methods of intercepting and neutralizing enemy UAVs.
Where does the training take place?
Three specialized training centers equipped with modern simulators and realistic training grounds.
Training of operators and pilots takes place at centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, involving the best civilian schools.
Training for sappers, engineers, and data-decoding specialists uses specialized programs adapted to the real challenges of war.
NEXT STAGE – COORDINATION IN COMBAT UNITS
After completing the course, you'll practice combat operations as part of a crew, platoon, company, or tactical group. This lets you apply your knowledge in real combat conditions and become part of Ukraine's high-tech strike force.
“Drone Line” is a chance to master the newest military technologies and make a real contribution to Victory!
