An elite strike unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine


Our combat achievements:

  • defended Kyiv and the Kyiv region from numerous enemy attacks;
  • conducted successful operations in Bakhmut, liberating strategically important settlements;
  • took part in the battles for Avdiivka and supported counteroffensive actions in eastern Ukraine;
  • carried out tasks to unblock Mariupol and ensure stability in regions where the occupiers try to entrench.

    • Our history begins on February 24, 2022, when the “Azov” volunteer territorial defense unit was formed in Kyiv. Later, joining forces with Azov veterans and members of the Azov movement, in January 2023 we became a full-fledged assault brigade under the command of Colonel Andriy Biletsky.
