Spanish, Portuguese Translator

Overview

The 2nd Assault Battalion "HONEYBADGER" is part of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade named after Kish Otaman Ivan Sirko, which has a ten-year history of defending the state on all fronts. The battalion took up combat positions on the eve of the invasion and has waged a daily struggle for our state's independence ever since. The battalion's service members have held the defense in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Bakhmut, and Lyman areas, and have taken part in liberating Sloboda Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• providing translation from Ukrainian to Spanish/Portuguese and vice versa
• written and oral (simultaneous, consecutive) Ukrainian-Spanish (Portuguese) and Spanish (Portuguese)-Ukrainian translation
• communicating with servicemen in Spanish/Portuguese

Requirements:

• experience in linguistics, translation, or a related field
• knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese and Ukrainian
• a good or high level of written and oral translation
• emotional resilience and ability to work with service members in stressful situations
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
• monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
• service in combat operations areas
