Mortar Gunner

Overview

A mortar gunner performs tasks as part of a mortar crew. This is a responsible combat position requiring discipline, attentiveness, endurance, and well-coordinated teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out tasks as part of a mortar crew
• preparing weapons for operation
• following the commands of the crew commander
• keeping weapons in serviceable condition
• compliance with safety rules
• participating in training and combat coordination

Requirements:

• age from 18
• readiness to serve in a combat unit
• attentiveness, discipline, and endurance
• ability to work in a team
• willingness to learn
• fitness for military service

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
• the prospect of career growth, development of leadership skills
• monetary allowance from 21,000 to 121,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
