MACHINE GUNNER

Overview

The 159th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a newly established formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was founded in 2024 and is actively being formed. The unit currently needs motivated candidates who are willing to train diligently and serve their country.

Responsibilities:

• Effective use of weapons. Ensuring firing accuracy and precision based on combat conditions, target types, and the assigned task
• Machine gun maintenance. Regularly checking, cleaning, lubricating, and fixing malfunctions of the weapon to keep it in working order
• Working with the team: coordinating actions with the commander and fellow soldiers to provide effective cover and complete combat tasks
• Safety and protection: complying with safety procedures when working with the machine gun and providing cover for personnel in combat conditions
• Orienting yourself in terrain. Quickly assessing the combat situation, choosing advantageous firing positions, and changing positions as needed

Requirements:

• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• willingness to constantly learn and develop

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service;
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• readiness to work both remotely (training ground, unit's permanent duty station) and in field conditions
• monetary allowance: from 27,000 to 127,000 UAH (depending on the assigned task and place of service)
