Operator-UAV Interceptor

Overview

The 419th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion invites you to serve as a UAV Interceptor Operator.
You will carry out combat missions operating interceptor drones to neutralize enemy reconnaissance, fire-correction, and strike UAVs ("Orlan-10," "Zala," "Supercam," "Shahed-131/136"). Your reaction speed and ability to navigate the airspace will ensure the protection of our positions and personnel from enemy aerial reconnaissance and attacks.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring airspace and detecting enemy UAVs;
  • Configuring and preparing interceptor UAVs and their countermeasures;
  • Flying combat sorties to identify and destroy enemy aerial targets;
  • Effective collaboration with reconnaissance and EW groups to create interception corridors;
  • Maintenance and repair of strike systems.

Requirements:

  • experience piloting UAVs (commercial, FPV, or military) will be an advantage; high concentration and the ability to work in virtual reality (goggles/monitor) for extended periods;
  • stress resistance, quick thinking, and accountability for results;
  • a technical aptitude for independently repairing and configuring drones;
  • complete secondary or higher education.

Conditions:

  • the opportunity to sign the "18-24: Drones" contract (subject to meeting the requirements);
  • contract service or mobilization until demobilization is announced;
  • possible transfer from other military units;
  • monetary allowance from 20,000 UAH/month + additional payments (up to 120,000 UAH in total, depending on terms of service);
  • annual paid leave of 30 days or more + additional leave for family circumstances or treatment;
  • medical care: free treatment at military and state medical facilities;
  • gear provision: issuance of uniform, footwear, and equipment according to Armed Forces of Ukraine standards;
  • opportunities for professional development, training, courses, including programs abroad;
  • competent command, clear performance of official duties;
  • support during the Regional TCC, Military Medical Commission, and during training;
  • permanent accommodation at the unit's location.
