UAV Operator

Overview

The 419th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion invites you to serve as a UAV Operator.
You will operate UAVs to conduct reconnaissance and correct fire, or carry out combat missions on strike drones to neutralize enemy equipment and personnel. Your piloting skill and speed of decision-making will directly affect the protection of our soldiers' lives and the destruction of high-priority targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and configuring UAVs (reconnaissance or strike) and their equipment for task performance;
  • Operating drones to gather intelligence or carry out combat sorties to engage targets;
  • Interacting with reconnaissance groups, decryption specialists, and command to relay current information;
  • Performing maintenance and minor repairs of systems.

Requirements:

  • experience piloting UAVs (commercial, FPV, or military) will be an advantage;
  • technical literacy and the ability to quickly learn complex control systems;
  • excellent spatial orientation, reaction speed, and thinking;
  • ability to work in virtual reality (goggles/monitor) for extended periods;
  • stress resistance, discipline, and readiness to work in field conditions on the front line;
  • complete secondary or higher education.

Conditions:

  • contract service or mobilization until demobilization is announced;
  • possible transfer from other military units;
  • monetary allowance from 22,000 UAH/month + additional payments (up to 120,000 UAH in total, depending on terms of service);
  • annual paid leave of 30 days or more + additional leave for family circumstances or treatment;
  • medical care: free treatment at military and state medical facilities;
  • gear provision: issuance of uniform, footwear, and equipment according to Armed Forces of Ukraine standards;
  • opportunities for professional development, training, courses, including programs abroad;
  • competent command, clear performance of official duties;
  • support during the Regional TCC, Military Medical Commission, and during training;
  • permanent accommodation at the unit's location.
