UAV Mechanic

Overview

The 419th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion invites you to serve as a UAV Mechanic.
This position requires precision and responsibility and involves participation in combat missions. You will ensure the reliability and durability of reconnaissance systems, being responsible for their mechanical maintenance, launch preparation, and restoration in field conditions.
You will become part of a unit that is shaping a new system of defense — intelligent, technological, effective.

Responsibilities:

• Checking and ensuring the UAV's readiness for its intended use (pre-flight preparation);
• Preparing systems for missions: on-site assembly, balancing, and checking mechanical components;
• Minor repairs and replacement of mechanically damaged parts in field conditions;
• Tracking and monitoring UAV spare parts inventory;
• Monitoring and maintaining auxiliary equipment.

Requirements:

• practical skills working with equipment, experience with minor repair and maintenance of mechanisms;
• responsible attitude toward operating expensive equipment;
• readiness for field work and maintaining systems in the task performance area;
• ability to use modern communication tools and platforms (Discord, Meet);
• basic knowledge of aircraft mechanics and design;
• complete secondary or higher education.

Conditions:

• contract service or mobilization until demobilization is announced;
• possible transfer from other military units;
• monetary allowance from 21,000 UAH/month + additional payments (up to 120,000 UAH in total, depending on terms of service);
• annual paid leave of 30 days or more + additional leave for family circumstances or treatment;
