UAV Master Technician

Overview

The 419th Separate Unmanned Systems Battalion invites you to serve as a UAV Technician.
This is a technically critical position that involves working with munitions and participating in combat missions. You will be responsible for assembling, configuring, and upgrading drones, as well as preparing and equipping the warhead directly in the mission area.
This vacancy is also available to candidates under the "Contract 18-24: Drones" program.
You will become part of a unit that is shaping a new system of defense — intelligent, technological, effective.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling, configuring, and upgrading new strike UAVs;
  • Preparing, equipping, and mounting the warhead (payload) on strike drones in compliance with all safety standards;
  • Prompt diagnostics, repair, and restoration of damaged UAVs and their components on-site;
  • Monitoring and recording ammunition and technical materials used;
  • Providing technical support for operators in the task performance area.

Requirements:

  • knowledge in electronics, radio engineering, and model aircraft building;
  • experience assembling, soldering, and configuring FPV drones;
  • knowledge of safety rules and experience handling explosives (ammunition), fuzes, and detonators (experience as a miner/sapper/blaster will be a major advantage);
  • exceptional attention to detail, discipline, and readiness to work in difficult field conditions;
  • complete secondary or higher education.

Conditions:

  • the opportunity to sign the "18-24: Drones" contract (subject to meeting the requirements);
  • contract service or mobilization until demobilization is announced;
  • possible transfer from other military units;
  • monetary allowance from 21,000 UAH/month + additional payments (up to 120,000 UAH in total, depending on terms of service);
  • annual paid leave of 30 days or more + additional leave for family circumstances or treatment;
  • medical care: free treatment at military and state medical facilities;
  • gear provision: issuance of uniform, footwear, and equipment according to Armed Forces of Ukraine standards;

  • competent command, clear performance of official duties;
  • support during the Regional TCC, Military Medical Commission, and during training;
