Psychological Support Group Officer
Overview
The 12th Separate Tank Battalion is a military formation within the 10th Army Corps of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale russian invasion, the unit has taken part in combat, defending Ukrainian territory in the Chernihiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Responsibilities:
- providing primary psychological aid in cases of combat stress or combat psychological trauma among unit service members
- analyzing the psychological state of personnel, identifying problems, and developing recommendations to improve the psychological climate in units
- conducting measures to restore the psychological readiness and resilience of servicemen
- evaluating and promptly responding to changes in personnel's psychological readiness and resilience
- coordinating actions with command to support the psychological health of servicemen
- providing recommendations on referring service members for rehabilitation
- preparing reports and conclusions
Requirements:
- higher education in "Psychology"
- experience as a psychologist
- communication skills and ability to cooperate with different people
- possession of an officer's rank
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- military service experience will be an advantage
- stress resilience
- responsibility and ability to work under stressful conditions
- readiness to work in the combat operations zone
- no criminal record
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
- guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
- annual additional wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
