Overview

The 3rd Separate Tank "Zalizna" (Iron) Brigade is a powerful formation within the Ground Forces, based in Khmelnytskyi region. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the brigade took part in the defense of Kyiv and Kyiv region, fought in Chernihiv region, and later fought defensive battles in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia sectors. In September 2022, the unit served as the "armored fist" of the Sloboda offensive operation during the liberation of Kharkiv region. Kharkiv region remains the brigade's main area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• transporting personnel/cargo to positions by car and truck
• maintaining the working condition of assigned motor vehicles, in compliance with operation and repair requirements

Requirements:

• age from 18
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• possession of a category B, C driver's license (other categories will be an advantage)
• military service experience will be an advantage
• readiness to work in the combat zone near the front edge
• no alcohol or drug dependency
• stress resilience, responsibility, and attentiveness

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• one-time payment upon signing the first contract — 24,224 hryvnias for enlisted rank, 27,252 hryvnias for sergeant rank
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• quality basic and specialized military training
• free medical care, sanatorium and resort treatment, including for family members
• gear, medical, and social support
