Overview

The 3rd Separate Tank "Zalizna" (Iron) Brigade is a powerful formation within the Ground Forces, based in Khmelnytskyi region. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the brigade took part in the defense of Kyiv and Kyiv region, fought in Chernihiv region, and later fought defensive battles in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia sectors. In September 2022, the unit served as the "armored fist" of the Sloboda offensive operation during the liberation of Kharkiv region. Kharkiv region remains the brigade's main area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• transporting cargo and crews
• monitoring the technical condition and performing maintenance/basic repair of the vehicle in field conditions
• diagnosing equipment malfunctions and repairing electrical/electronic equipment
• participating in the unit's combat missions
• maintaining required documentation and route sheets

Requirements:

• age from 18
• secondary, vocational secondary/higher education
• possession of a category B, C driver's license (other categories will be an advantage)
• no criminal record, alcohol or drug dependency
• fitness by state of health

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• one-time payment upon signing the first contract for enlisted rank — 24,224 hryvnias
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 150,000 hryvnias depending on where tasks are performed
• gear, medical, and social support
• training in the chosen specialty at Armed Forces of Ukraine training centers and abroad
• service in the combat zone
