Overview

The 3rd Separate Tank "Zalizna" (Iron) Brigade is a powerful formation within the Ground Forces, based in Khmelnytskyi region. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the brigade took part in the defense of Kyiv and Kyiv region, fought in Chernihiv region, and later fought defensive battles in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia sectors. In September 2022, the unit served as the "armored fist" of the Sloboda offensive operation during the liberation of Kharkiv region. Kharkiv region remains the brigade's main area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• ensuring the execution of combat missions
• training and preparing subordinates
• compliance with military discipline and order

Requirements:

• NCO rank
• responsibility and discipline
• no alcohol or drug dependency

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service in the combat zone
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks
• provision of uniform, food supplies, medical and social support
