Psychological Support Group Officer

Overview

The 116th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that was formed during the full-scale russian invasion. The unit's service members took part in the heroic Zaporizhzhia counteroffensive and the valiant defense of Avdiivka, and continue to defend our country's territory. Responsibilities:

• conducting psychological screening and psychological assessment of newly arrived personnel
• monitoring servicemen's psychological state and identifying servicemen in psychoemotional crisis states
• providing psychological aid to service members, conducting psychoprophylactic and/or psychocorrective measures in units
• regularly assessing and responding to changes in personnel's psychological readiness and resilience
• maintaining and submitting reports on completed work
• compliance with military discipline, the laws of Ukraine, and the laws and governing documents of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Requirements:

• having a higher psychological/pedagogical education
• possession of an officer's rank
• readiness to work in the combat zone
• communication skills and ability to cooperate with different people
• stress resilience
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• military service experience and combat experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• service in the combat operations zone
• guaranteed monthly monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the location of tasks
• annual additional wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
• annual main leave and additional leave of 10 days or more for family circumstances
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• free medical care
