UAV Mechanic
Overview
The 116th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that was formed during the full-scale russian invasion. The unit's service members took part in the heroic Zaporizhzhia counteroffensive and the valiant defense of Avdiivka, and continue to defend our country's territory. Responsibilities:
- preparing UAVs for use
- performing maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in UAV systems
- carrying out scheduled and emergency UAV repair work
- maintaining and configuring auxiliary equipment for UAVs
- continuous search for new technological solutions
- preparing reports on completed work
- carrying out combat orders as part of the unit
- keeping weapons in constant combat readiness
- compliance with military discipline, the laws of Ukraine, and the laws and governing documents of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
- continuous improvement of one's professional skills
- compliance with safety rules and fire tactics
Requirements:
- age from 25
- secondary, vocational secondary, basic higher education
- experience in maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of electronics and electrical equipment
- understanding of the basic principles of circuit design
- ability to read electrical schematics will be an advantage
- experience as an engineer/electrician will be an advantage
- experience piloting UAVs will be an advantage
- experience working with explosives will be an advantage
- education and experience in sapper work will be an advantage
- experience working with civilian or agricultural drones will be an advantage
- readiness for deployment to the combat area
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- no criminal record
- military service experience will be an advantage
- readiness to perform tasks in the combat operations area
- willingness to constantly learn and improve one's own technical and combat skills
- readiness to work as part of a team
- responsibility and attentiveness to the details of assigned tasks
- a drive to achieve success in accomplishing assigned tasks, a results-oriented mindset
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- service in the combat operations zone
- guaranteed monthly monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the complexity and location of tasks
- annual additional wellness payment equal to one month's monetary allowance
- annual main leave and additional leave of 10 days or more for family circumstances
- provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
- free medical care
