Overview
The 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great is a unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was established in 2014 and is based in Volyn region. It took part in combat in Donbas and in repelling the Russian invasion. Over 9 years of resilience and struggle, the unit completed 5 rotations of the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation. Since the start of the full-scale russian invasion, the brigade repelled the attack in the Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, then confronted the russian army and successfully counterattacked in the Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions. Today its soldiers continue to relentlessly destroy the enemy in Kharkiv region.
Responsibilities:
- conducting engineer reconnaissance
- setting up engineering obstacles, mining, and destroying objects
- ensuring that troops overcome obstacles, destruction, and barriers
- carrying out engineering measures for camouflage, and fortification equipment of defensive lines, positions, and troop deployment and staging areas
Requirements:
- age from 18
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
- secondary, vocational secondary, or higher education
- willingness to constantly learn and develop
- possession of a training certificate
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen
- provision of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and full meals
- the prospect of career growth, development of leadership skills
- monetary allowance from 21,000 to 121,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
- free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
