Staff Officer

Overview

The 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been countering the armed aggression of the russian federation since 2023 and carries out missions to defend Ukraine and protect the population and the interests of the state. The unit's service members have been engaged in missions in the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions and continue to successfully carry out their assigned tasks. This vacancy is for service in the materiel support platoon.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions assigned to the unit
• ensuring the execution of tasks assigned by the battalion commander and chief of staff
• collecting and analyzing information, preparing reports
• working with staff documentation
• coordinating with battalion and brigade units
• compliance with safety requirements when handling weapons and ammunition
• maintaining documentation and reporting
• compliance with the requirements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regulations and the laws of Ukraine

Requirements:

• age from 25
• officer's rank or higher education, with a desire to undergo training and obtain an officer's rank
• readiness to carry out tasks assigned to the unit in the zone of active combat operations
• managerial and organizational abilities
• stress resilience and endurance
• leadership qualities
• a high level of personal discipline and moral and professional qualities
• fitness for military service by state of health
• computer proficiency and ability to work with specialized software
• basic combined-arms training and/or military service experience in the position, participation in combat operations will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 190,000 hryvnias depending on the specifics of task performance and place of service
