Medical Orderly, Medical Station

Overview

The 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been countering the armed aggression of the russian federation since 2023 and carries out missions to defend Ukraine and protect the population and the interests of the state. The unit's service members have been engaged in missions in the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions and continue to successfully carry out their assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions assigned to the unit
• participating in wounded-evacuation measures
• providing first aid to the wounded
• assisting senior medical staff in providing medical care to the wounded
• maintaining medical equipment and protective gear in proper condition for evacuating the wounded
• compliance with safety requirements when handling weapons and ammunition

Requirements:

• age from 25
• fitness for military service by state of health
• ability to provide first medical aid
• ability to quickly make decisions under conditions of increased physical and psychological strain
• readiness to carry out tasks assigned to the unit
• stress resilience and endurance
• a high level of personal discipline and moral and professional qualities
• compliance with the requirements of the statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the laws of Ukraine
• having basic combined-arms training and/or military service experience in the position will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias per month depending on tasks performed
• provision of necessary training
• provision of resources needed to carry out assigned tasks
• provision of gear and proper meals
• compliance with social guarantees in accordance with current legislation
