Military Topography Instructor

Overview

The 117th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade is part of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Responsibilities:

• organizing and conducting classes and drills on military topography, including training in the use of maps, compasses, and other topographic instruments
• assessing service members' training level in military topography, conducting practical tests and assessments
• monitoring personnel's compliance with military discipline during exercises and training

Requirements:

• knowledge of the basics of topography and geodesy, namely working with maps, compasses, GPS, and other topographic tools, as well as knowledge of the basics of land navigation
• experience serving in combat units, combat experience
• ability to teach, share knowledge, and motivate
• knowledge and experience in conducting military training and instruction; possession of an instructor certificate will be an advantage
• only partially fit servicemen with combat experience are considered

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
