Rifle Squad Leader

Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• proficient handling of various types of weapons and equipment
• storing and properly using the squad's military property
• keeping subordinate personnel, weapons, and equipment in constant combat readiness
• commanding the squad and providing comprehensive support during combat (special) missions

Requirements:

• ability to navigate by map
• experience managing subordinates for effective leadership preferred
• determination, perseverance, and the ability to quickly adapt to dynamic changes while performing tasks
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 25,000 to 125,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
