Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• transporting personnel and cargo
• maintaining a high level of physical and combat training
• carrying out commanders' orders, interacting with the commander and the sergeant staff of the detachment
• participating in combat training classes
• participating in preparing and executing fire missions
• keeping weapons, equipment, and ammunition combat-ready
• orientation on terrain and use of geolocation devices

Requirements:

• driver's license category B (category C will be an advantage)
• responsible attitude toward safety measures
• no alcohol or drug dependency
• good health, endurance, stress resistance, responsibility, composure
• logical thinking, ability to think flexibly and find new approaches
• military service experience, particularly in a relevant position, will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 23,000 to 123,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
