Driver

Overview

A driver in a military unit is more than just driving a car. This is a responsible position on which the mobility of the unit depends, the timely delivery of personnel, property and the necessary resources. The driver is responsible for the serviceability of the fixed equipment and its readiness to perform tasks.

Responsibilities:

• transporting cargo and personnel to destinations
• ensuring the proper and safe operation of the motor vehicle
• performing regular inspection of the vehicle's condition and its maintenance
• compliance with internal rules and safety instructions

Requirements:

• driver's license of the appropriate category;
• confident driving;
• knowledge of traffic rules;
• basic knowledge of the structure and maintenance of the vehicle;
• responsibility, attentiveness and discipline;
• good physical endurance;
• willingness to work in a team;
• experience in military service or working with military equipment will be an advantage.
