UAV Interceptor Operator

Overview

The 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the unit's soldiers have successfully carried out combat missions in eastern Ukraine in the area of the Serebrianskyi forest and in the Bakhmut sector. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities:

• preparing and performing basic maintenance of UAVs
• working with situational awareness systems
• destroying enemy UAVs using interceptors
• preparing reports on the results of completed missions

Requirements:

• experience piloting the relevant type of UAV will be an advantage
• motivation, responsibility, attention to detail
• fitness for military service by state of health and readiness to perform tasks in the combat zone
• willingness to constantly learn and develop
• analytical skills and ability to make quick decisions
• ability to work with situational awareness systems and specialized software
• responsibility and discipline
• ability to work in a team and complete assigned tasks on time

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias + additional reward depending on the region where tasks are performed + reward for destroyed equipment
