Radar Operator

Overview

The 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in 2023. Since the summer of 2023, the unit's soldiers have successfully carried out combat missions in eastern Ukraine in the area of the Serebrianskyi forest and in the Bakhmut sector. Since May 2024, the brigade has been defending Kharkiv region.

Responsibilities:

• operating, using, and maintaining radar station equipment
• searching for and detecting targets in the airspace using radar
• coordinating with other units to transmit data and align actions
• finding positions for better radar operation

Requirements:

• willingness to constantly learn and develop
• analytical skills and ability to make quick decisions
• responsibility and discipline
• ability to work in a team and complete assigned tasks on time

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• monetary allowance from 20,000 hryvnias + additional reward depending on the region where tasks are performed
• social guarantees and benefits for servicemen
