UAV Mechanic

Overview

The "VIDARR" Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade is a team that grew from the level of a UAV platoon and has gone through a thorny path defending Chasiv Yar, as well as holding back the enemy in the Kupiansk and Lyman sectors. The unit is currently carrying out combat missions in the brigade's area of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• ensuring the readiness and reliability of the UAV before its intended use
• maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing UAVs
• using technical equipment for diagnosing, detecting, and eliminating faults in UAV systems
• installing and testing new components and equipment
• analyzing problems and finding solutions to resolve them
• maintaining and configuring auxiliary equipment for UAVs

Requirements:

• experience piloting UAVs will be an advantage
• education and experience in sapper work will be an advantage
• experience working with explosives will be an advantage
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• age from 18
• no alcohol or drug dependency
• self-discipline, willingness to learn and improve
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• guaranteed monthly monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the complexity and location of tasks
• free medical care
• service in the active combat zone
