UAV Operator
Overview
The 156th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The new brigade is building its name together with experienced commanders who have been through the war and know what it takes to win. Become part of the history being written right now.
Responsibilities:
- piloting unmanned aerial systems within military operations and tasks
- compliance with technical instructions and safety protocols during flights
- detecting and marking targets, transmitting coordinates in real time
- collecting, processing, and transmitting intelligence information to the command staff
- coordinating with artillery and assault groups, and correcting fire
- monitoring the technical condition of equipment before and after carrying out tasks
- participating in UAV tactics training, exchanging experience with other operators
- recording video and archiving important combat information
Requirements:
- age from 20
- desire to acquire new knowledge and grow in the field of piloting unmanned systems
- ability to work with mobile applications, controllers, and ground stations
- spatial orientation, ability to read maps and work with coordinates
- high level of discipline and responsibility
- good concentration, calmness in stressful situations
- experience in FPV/drone racing video games will be an advantage
- technical or IT education is desirable but not mandatory
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- annual main leave of 30 calendar days (2 parts of 15 days each)
- provision of gear and a personal protection kit
- a package of social and legal guarantees for servicemen and their family members
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 200,000 hryvnias depending on the area where tasks are performed
