Combat Medic
Overview
The 156th Separate Mechanized Brigade is a unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The new brigade is building its name together with experienced commanders who have been through the war and know what it takes to win. Become part of the history being written right now.
Responsibilities:
- providing first aid in combat conditions
- evacuating the wounded from the battlefield, ensuring their safety
- assessing casualties' condition and providing initial diagnosis
- performing stabilization measures (stopping bleeding, supporting breathing, cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
- preparing to transport the wounded to medical facilities
- keeping personal medical equipment ready
- cooperating with other units and medical personnel for a prompt response to combat situations
Requirements:
- medical education (specialized secondary or higher; preference given to Nurse or Paramedic specialization)
- experience working in high-risk conditions or knowledge of emergency medicine
- skills in tactical medicine, knowledge of TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) protocols
- resilience to stress, physical endurance, ability to make quick decisions
- skills in working with medical equipment (tourniquets, bandages, oxygen equipment, etc.)
- responsibility, attentiveness to detail, readiness to work in extreme conditions
- knowledge of basic NATO medical standards preferred
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- annual main leave of 30 calendar days (2 parts of 15 days each)
- provision of gear and a personal protection kit
- a package of social and legal guarantees for servicemen and their family members
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 200,000 hryvnias depending on the area where tasks are performed
