Driver-Medical Orderly, Evacuation Section
Overview
The 1st Separate Assault Regiment is a unit of the Ground Forces. The unit has taken part in combat in the most difficult sectors of the front: the Kupiansk-Balakliia operation, the defense of Vuhledar, Bakhmut, Kupiansk, and Chasiv Yar, and offensive operations in the Kupiansk sector. The unit is currently actively growing and needs qualified, motivated service members.
Responsibilities:
- conducting evacuation measures from the point of handover of the wounded to stabilization points
- evacuation to a higher level of medical care
- ensuring technically correct operation of motor vehicles, taking measures to keep them in working condition
- knowledge of the basics of vehicle construction and keeping it in constant combat readiness
- participating in the evacuation of the wounded, being able to directly load (unload) the wounded onto medical transport
Requirements:
- possession of a driver's license in one or more categories, B/C
- equipment repair skills will be an advantage
- good physical fitness
- activity, stress resilience, teamwork
- an appropriate level of motivation, desire to learn and improve
- adequate physical fitness and health condition
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen
- monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on prior length of service, assigned tasks, and place of service
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
- guaranteed annual paid main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances, with the possibility of traveling abroad
- timely processing of Combat Veteran status
- the opportunity to meet the commander and the unit before making a decision, with no risk of forced mobilization
- service in a well-coordinated, experienced medical team
- service at the ATGM platoon and in the active combat zone
- qualified guidance at all stages of mobilization or transfer through to taking up the position
