Platoon Commander

Overview

The 42nd Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion is part of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kish Otaman Kost Hordiienko. The battalion took part in the battles for Ilovaisk, Savur-Mohyla, and Debaltseve (2014-2015), and after the full-scale russian invasion, in the battles for Bakhmut and Kupiansk, and in liberating the right bank of Kherson region.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat (special) missions as part of the unit, including on the line of direct contact with the enemy
• carrying out tasks in accordance with commanders' instructions and orders
• managing and training subordinates: assigning tasks, motivating, and developing the military qualities of personnel
• maintaining combat readiness through regular training and skills development
• reporting to senior commanders on the state of affairs in the unit

Requirements:

• officer's rank or higher education, with the prospect of obtaining an officer's rank
• knowledge of military affairs
• ability to communicate with people
• developed leadership and organizational skills

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• social guarantees, the possibility of treatment and rehabilitation at state medical facilities
• the opportunity for training and professional growth
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 170,000 hryvnias depending on experience, qualifications, and the area where tasks are performed
