Paramedic, Evacuation Section

Overview

The 1st Separate Assault Regiment is a unit of the Ground Forces. The unit has taken part in combat in the most difficult sectors of the front: the Kupiansk-Balakliia operation, the defense of Vuhledar, Bakhmut, Kupiansk, and Chasiv Yar, and offensive operations in the Kupiansk sector. The unit is currently actively growing and needs qualified, motivated service members.

Responsibilities:

• conducting evacuation measures from the point of handover of the wounded to stabilization points
• providing first qualified medical aid at the MEDEVAC stage, stabilizing the wounded person's condition
• evacuation to a higher level of medical care (monitoring vital signs and the overall condition of the wounded)
• conducting tactical medicine classes for personnel
• maintaining medical documentation and reporting

Requirements:

• secondary medical education (paramedic)
• knowledge of the basics of tactical medicine and emergency care
• activity, stress resilience, teamwork
• an appropriate level of motivation, desire to learn and improve
• adequate physical fitness and health condition

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on prior length of service, assigned tasks, and place of service
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, and full meals
• guaranteed annual paid main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances, with the possibility of traveling abroad
• timely processing of Combat Veteran status
• service in a well-coordinated, experienced medical team
• qualified guidance at all stages of mobilization or transfer through to taking up the position
• service at the ATGM platoon and in the active combat zone
• the opportunity to meet the commander and the unit before making a decision, with no risk of forced mobilization
