EW Operator

Overview

The 42nd Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion is part of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Kish Otaman Kost Hordiienko. The battalion took part in the battles for Ilovaisk, Savur-Mohyla, and Debaltseve (2014-2015), and after the full-scale russian invasion, in the battles for Bakhmut and Kupiansk, and in liberating the right bank of Kherson region.

Responsibilities:

• intercepting and analyzing enemy radio-electronic signals
• detecting and identifying sources of radio emission
• carrying out radio-electronic suppression of enemy communication equipment and UAVs
• using EW equipment to jam and disrupt the enemy's electronic systems
• setting up and maintaining EW and ELINT equipment in working order
• conducting regular maintenance and repair of equipment
• complying with the requirements of military regulations and commanders' orders, showing reasonable initiative when carrying out tasks

Requirements:

• desire to learn, continuous improvement of acquired skills
• vocational secondary or technical education
• a high level of ideological, moral, and professional values
• fitness for service by state of health
• military service experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service

• monetary allowance from 50,000 to 170,000 hryvnias depending on experience, qualifications, and the area where tasks are performed
