Gun Commander
Overview
The 1st Separate Assault Regiment is a unit of the Ground Forces. The unit has taken part in combat in the most difficult sectors of the front: the Kupiansk-Balakliia operation, the defense of Vuhledar, Bakhmut, Kupiansk, and Chasiv Yar, and offensive operations in the Kupiansk sector. The unit is currently actively growing and needs qualified, motivated service members.
Responsibilities:
- commanding the gun crew's personnel
- preparing for live firing, aiming, and carrying out fire missions
- organizing the maintenance, camouflage, and technical condition of the gun
- maintaining reporting and monitoring ammunition
- coordinating with the platoon/battery commander
- ensuring coordinated crew actions during firing raids, maneuvers, or evacuation
Requirements:
- knowledge of the operating principles of guns and firing rules
- skills in managing subordinates and quickly orienting in changing combat conditions
- experience serving in artillery positions (gunner, loader, driver-mechanic, etc.)
- knowledge of modern digital targeting and observation systems will be an advantage
- responsibility, leadership qualities, endurance
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation, depending on prior length of service, assigned tasks, and place of service
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
- guaranteed annual paid main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
- qualified guidance at all stages of mobilization or transfer through to taking up the position
