Psychological Support Group Officer
Overview
The 1st Separate Tank Siverska Brigade is a tank forces unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today you stand before a choice that will change your life. Responsibilities:
- providing psychological support to service members during their service
- participating in the psychological recovery process after military operations
- psychodiagnostics
- psychoprophylactic work
- psychological preparation (training, psychoeducation, trainings)
- conducting psychological counseling and psychocorrective work with servicemen
- crisis psychological assistance
- working with individuals showing signs of combat-related psychological trauma, acute stress disorder (ASD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
Requirements:
- possession of an officer's rank
- higher education in psychology, psychotherapy, or psychiatry will be an advantage
- 1+ years of experience in psychological support
- emotional resilience and ability to work in stressful situations
- knowledge of the basics of psychology and methods of psychological support
- desire to work with servicemen and help them overcome difficulties
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation
- service in the active combat zone
- training before taking up the position and, if necessary, additional specialized training both in Ukraine and abroad
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
