Gun Crew Member

Overview

The 1st Separate Assault Regiment is a unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has taken part in combat in the most difficult sectors of the front: the Kupiansk-Balakliia operation, the defense of Vuhledar, Bakhmut, Kupiansk, and Chasiv Yar, and offensive operations in the Kupiansk sector. The unit is currently actively growing and needs qualified, motivated service members.

Responsibilities:

  • maintaining assigned weapons and the loading system
  • preparing and loading ammunition
  • sorting ammunition, preparing it for firing
  • maintaining the gun: cleaning, checking serviceability, preparing for firing
  • assisting with transporting and camouflaging guns
  • firing in accordance with the commander's orders

Requirements:

  • basic physical fitness and endurance
  • ability to work in a team
  • experience serving or training in artillery specialties will be an advantage
  • responsibility, punctuality, discipline

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen
  • qualified guidance at all stages of mobilization or transfer through to taking up the position
  • provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
  • monetary allowance in accordance with current legislation, depending on prior length of service, assigned tasks, and place of service
  • guaranteed annual paid main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
