Fundraiser
Overview
The 1st Separate Assault Battalion is a unit of the "North" Operational Command of the Ground Forces. The unit has taken part in combat in the most difficult sectors of the front: the Kupiansk-Balakliia operation, the defense of Vuhledar, Bakhmut, Kupiansk, and Chasiv Yar, and offensive operations in the Kupiansk sector. The unit is currently actively growing and needs qualified, motivated service members.
Responsibilities:
- developing a fundraising strategy: analyzing potential funding sources, creating a plan for raising funds over short and long-term periods
- writing grant applications, cover letters, and budgets
- preparing reports for donors and sponsors
- communicating with donors
- organizing fundraising campaigns: charity events, online campaigns, auctions, mailings, working with charity platforms
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in fundraising or grant writing (volunteer experience acceptable)
- written literacy (Ukrainian/English)
- knowledge of the basics of project management
- knowledge of Word, Excel, Canva/Figma, Google Docs
- knowledge of Ukrainian is mandatory, English at Intermediate level
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen
- possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 50,000 hryvnias depending on assigned tasks and place of service
- provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
- guaranteed annual paid main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances, with the possibility of traveling abroad
