Tactical Medicine Instructor

Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade named after Kostiantyn Pestushko is a tank forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2014, the brigade has taken part in the war in eastern Ukraine as part of the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit has defended our freedom in the hottest sectors of the front. Its permanent duty station is the city of Kryvyi Rih.

Responsibilities:

  • conducting theoretical and practical tactical medicine training in accordance with the standard
  • conducting training exercises for units
  • organizing classes and teaching the basic principles of providing first aid on the battlefield
  • evaluating and monitoring trainees' abilities and skills
  • performing additional tasks related to training servicemen
  • developing tactical medicine training programs in accordance with the requirements and standards of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Requirements:

  • fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
  • medical education or a certificate of completion of tactical medicine training
  • proficiency in and experience applying the TCCC protocol
  • physical endurance and moral resilience
  • combat experience will be an advantage

Conditions:

  • mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
  • one-time monetary reward for signing the first contract equal to 10 subsistence minimums
  • monetary allowance from 21,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
  • possibility of transferring current servicemen
  • the opportunity for career growth and participation in relevant military training
  • service in the city of Kryvyi Rih and in the combat zone
  • gear and equipment provision, including personal protective equipment, accommodation, meals, and medical care for the duration of service
  • official annual leave and leave for family circumstances
  • assistance in obtaining Combat Veteran status in case of participation in combat operations, and other social guarantees in accordance with current legislation of Ukraine
