Combat Medic

Overview

The 162nd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a unit within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This vacancy is for service in the newly established CBRN protection company of the 162nd Brigade.

Responsibilities:

• providing first aid to service members wounded on the battlefield
• participating in the evacuation of wounded and sick servicemen
• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• medical support for the unit's sick servicemen
• implementing measures to prevent the occurrence and spread of illness in the unit
• checking the unit's stock of medical property
• conducting military-medical training with the unit's personnel
• maintaining medical records for sick and wounded servicemen

Requirements:

• medical education will be an advantage
• fitness for service by state of health and moral qualities
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• military service experience will be an advantage
• abstinence from alcohol and psychotropic substances
• physical and psychological endurance
• age from 18

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on the assigned task and place of service
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, and full meals
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• a full social package
• training before taking up the position and, if necessary, specialized training both in Ukraine and abroad
• service in the active combat zone
