Platoon Commander (English-speaking)

Overview

The 422nd Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 2023 in Ternopil region and took part in fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The unit is looking for conscientious and motivated citizens who are ready to learn, grow, and together liberate the territories of Ukraine from the russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• assigning tasks, motivating, and educating personnel
• overseeing the proper condition and preservation of the platoon's weapons, ammunition, equipment, and other property
• compliance with military discipline and execution of combat orders
• coordinating the platoon's actions with other units
• carrying out orders of higher command
• carrying out measures to preserve the life and health of personnel

Requirements:

• a high level of motivation
• knowledge of English at B1 level or higher
• possession of an officer's military rank or higher education, with the prospect of obtaining an officer's military rank
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• no criminal record
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• knowledge of foreign languages will be an advantage
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• monetary allowance from 25,000 to 125,000 hryvnias depending on the zone of task performance and combat orders
• additional monetary allowance for 30 days spent on the line of combat contact
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment
• provision of full meals
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• social protection and guaranteed life insurance in accordance with current legislation
• free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat
• service in the active combat zone
• the prospect of career growth, development of leadership skills and foreign language knowledge
