Tank Driver
Overview
The 23rd Separate Mechanized Brigade is a mechanized forces formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brigade was formed in January 2023 and now takes an active part in combat and in containing the armed aggression of the russian federation in one of the hottest sectors. The units are equipped with the latest models of weapons and military equipment, allowing them to effectively carry out combat missions under modern conditions. The brigade's personnel undergo intensive training, including training to NATO standards. Thanks to its structure and equipment, the unit is able to quickly respond to changes in the operational-tactical situation and carry out a variety of missions.
Responsibilities:
- serving as a tank driver in a tank battalion
- diagnosing the technical condition of vehicles, their maintenance and repair
- compliance with safety requirements when working with equipment
- participating in training and exercises on the operation of combat equipment
- compliance with discipline and chain of command rules
Requirements:
- possession of a category "C" driver's license
- age from 18
- professional training will be an advantage
- understanding of the structural principles and functioning of tanks, knowledge of the specifics of their operation
- quick reaction and endurance
- good physical fitness, no medical contraindications
- ability to work in stressful situations
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
- possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
- provision of all necessary supplies and equipment, full meals
- social benefits in accordance with current legislation: annual leave — 30 calendar days, leave for family circumstances — up to 10 calendar days per year, medical care, etc.
