Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• conducting reconnaissance operations and missions
• gathering and analyzing information about the enemy
• installing and maintaining communication equipment
• preparing and submitting reconnaissance reports
• participating in tactical exercises and training
• ensuring safety measures while carrying out reconnaissance missions
• cooperating with other units to coordinate reconnaissance activities

Requirements:

• complete general secondary education
• experience in military service or willingness to undergo military training
• experience in reconnaissance or other relevant training is desirable
• ability to work with reconnaissance equipment and communication devices
• physical endurance and good physical shape
• responsibility, discipline, analytical abilities, and ability to work in a team

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
