Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• operating the AGS-17, RPG, and/or recoilless gun
• keeping weapons in serviceable condition
• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• compliance with the requirements of the regulations and military discipline
• carrying out commanders' orders

Requirements:

• fitness for military service
• readiness to work in the combat zone
• moral resilience and a high level of motivation
• proficiency in the main types of small arms
• experience using the AGS-17, RPG, or SPG is desired
• combat experience is desirable
• good physical fitness is desirable
• readiness to work in the combat zone near the front edge

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
