Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• ensuring communications within the unit
• setting up and maintaining communications devices
• mastering military skills and improving proficiency in handling weapons and special equipment
• teamwork while maintaining military discipline
• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit as needed

Requirements:

• technical education will be an advantage
• fitness for military service
• desire to serve and defend the state
• prior military service experience is desirable but not mandatory

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
