Reconnaissance Group Officer

Overview

The 5th Separate Kyiv Assault Brigade is a military formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, established in 2022. Since the start of the russian invasion of Ukraine, the brigade has taken part in fighting near Lysychansk, Siversk, Vuhledar, Horlivka, Maiorske, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, and Klishchiivka. The unit is mostly equipped with Western weapons and equipment. Its permanent duty station is the city of Kyiv. The vacancy involves service in an assault battalion.

Responsibilities:

• working with software
• collecting and analyzing information on the enemy
• planning reconnaissance activities in the unit and monitoring their execution
• conducting initial interrogation of prisoners
• working with captured documents and communication equipment

Requirements:

• higher education
• age 18
• readiness to undergo military service
• candidates from among NCO personnel are considered, provided they are willing to complete initial specialty courses
• combat experience, especially in reconnaissance units, is welcome; however, a motivated candidate with strong work capacity and analytical skills will also be considered

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
• monetary allowance from 30,000 to 130,000 hryvnias depending on the performance of combat tasks
• full materiel provision and social benefits
• the opportunity to implement innovative ideas for conducting reconnaissance
• qualified training in Ukraine
