Engineer of thecommunication node

Overview

A communications node engineer is a serviceman who is responsible for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of telecommunications complexes, setting up and maintaining complex communications and data transmission hardware at the node

Responsibilities:

• deploying, configuring and ensuring the stable operation of communication equipment
• maintenance, diagnostics and prompt troubleshooting
• administration and control over the operation of data transmission channels and networks
• ensuring the security and protection of information resources at the communication node
• maintenance of technical and accounting documentation on the state of equipment and means of communication

Requirements:

• higher technical education (in telecommunications, radio engineering, computer science or engineering)
• experience with network and telecommunication equipment
• knowledge of the principles of construction and operation of wired, radio and satellite networks
• skills in diagnostics, adjustment and repair of technical means of communication
• confident PC skills, understanding of network protocols and information security principles
