Head of Military Equipment Service

Overview

The head of the military equipment service is a serviceman who organizes and controls the maintenance, repair, proper operation and accounting of all vehicles and special equipment of the military unit

Responsibilities:

• organization of technically correct operation and constant combat readiness of automotive and special equipment
• planning and control of maintenance and repair works
• keeping records of machinery, spare parts, fuels and lubricants and technical documentation
• control over compliance with safety rules during the use and maintenance of machines
• organization of evacuation and restoration of damaged or faulty equipment

Requirements:

• higher technical education (engineering, automotive or related to the operation of machinery)
• experience in maintenance, repair and organization of operation of automotive or special equipment
• knowledge of the structure of military (or cargo) equipment and the rules of its technical operation
• ability to maintain technical documentation and accounting of material and technical means
• availability of a driver's license of the appropriate categories and skills in unit management
