Radio Operator

Overview

The 1st Separate Assault Regiment is a unit of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The unit has taken part in combat in the most difficult sectors of the front: the Kupiansk-Balakliia operation, the defense of Vuhledar, Bakhmut, Kupiansk, and Chasiv Yar, and offensive operations in the Kupiansk sector. The unit is currently actively growing and needs qualified, motivated service members. This vacancy is for service within the regiment's artillery battalion.

Responsibilities:

• deploying communication equipment, preparing it for operation
• maintaining the log of radio station and communications equipment usage
• performing maintenance and adjustment of radio equipment to ensure reliable and effective communication
• diagnosing the technical condition and serviceability of communication equipment

Requirements:

• education in a specialty related to software or communications, experience working with radio stations will be an advantage
• knowledge of the principles and techniques of radio communication

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen
• monetary allowance depending on prior length of service, assigned tasks, and place of service
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• guaranteed annual paid main leave of 30 days + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• social benefits in accordance with current legislation
• qualified guidance at all stages of mobilization or transfer through to taking up the position
