UAV Operator (English-speaking)

Overview

The 422nd Separate Rifle Battalion is part of the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit was formed in 2023 in Ternopil region and took part in fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The unit is looking for conscientious and motivated citizens who speak English and are ready to learn, grow, and together liberate the territories of Ukraine from the russian occupiers.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of a foreign unit
• destroying enemy personnel and equipment using drop munitions
• conducting aerial reconnaissance of positions
• adjusting artillery fire on enemy positions and equipment
• strict adherence to military discipline

Requirements:

• knowledge of English at B1 level or higher
• computer literacy at a confident user level
• experience working with civilian drones will be an advantage
• age from 18
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• a high level of motivation and a constant desire to learn and develop
• complete abstinence from alcoholic beverages and drugs during service
• no criminal record
• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• knowledge of other foreign languages will be an advantage

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• possibility of transferring current servicemen with the direct commander's consent
• possibility of service for candidates who, per the Military Medical Commission's findings, are fit for service in support units, TCC and SP, military educational institutions, training centers, etc.
• monetary allowance from 51,000 to 121,000 hryvnias depending on combat orders and where they are carried out
• provision of uniforms and personal protective equipment, full meals
• social protection and guaranteed life insurance in accordance with current legislation
• guaranteed annual main leave + additional 10-day leave for family circumstances
• additional monetary allowance for 30 days spent on the line of combat contact
• free treatment and financial compensation for injuries sustained in combat

• full support from the recruitment team through joining the unit and taking up the position
