Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• driving cars and trucks
• compliance with operation and maintenance requirements for vehicles
• transporting cargo and personnel
• carrying out commanders' orders in accordance with the Armed Forces of Ukraine's regulations
• conscientious execution of assigned tasks as part of the unit

Requirements:

• readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
• fitness for military service by state of health and moral-psychological qualities
• driving experience and a category B, C driver's license (having additional categories will be an advantage)
• no alcohol or drug dependency
• ability to navigate terrain, especially in limited visibility conditions
• skills in driving in difficult road conditions at any time of year and day
• ability to prepare the vehicle to traverse difficult terrain

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
