Overview

The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Responsibilities:

• carrying out combat missions as part of the unit
• managing and training subordinates, effectively distributing tasks
• supporting the motivation and upbringing of servicemen
• developing tactical strategies for the successful execution of combat missions
• maintaining communication with higher command and reporting on the unit's status
• ensuring military discipline and personnel safety

Requirements:

• NCO rank
• experience serving in a similar position
• fitness for military service by moral-psychological and physical qualities
• no drug or alcohol dependency
• high level of discipline and responsibility
• desire to serve in defense of Ukraine

Conditions:

• mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
• monetary allowance from 23,000 to 123,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
• social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
• guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
• support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
• processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
