Overview
The 17th Separate Heavy Mechanized Kryvyi Rih Brigade is a formation within the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From 2014 to the present, it has taken an active part in the war against the occupiers. The brigade has fought for Sloviansk, Ilovaisk, and Debaltseve, and defended Mariupol. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the unit carried out missions in eastern and southern Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- maintaining military communications equipment
- overseeing the operation of communication equipment
- monitoring the quality of signal transmission between communication points
- determining the causes of and eliminating faults in military communication devices and lines
- designing and creating new telecommunications or radio communication circuits
- organizing the operation of mobile and portable military communication stations
- restoring communication means and methods in areas of military operations, natural disasters, and accidents
- encrypting military communications
- intercepting enemy information
Requirements:
- knowledge of the technologies and standards of the radio communication system
- readiness to work in the zone of active combat operations
- specialized education or special training
- skills in performing special installation and repair work
- ability to correctly use the equipment needed to monitor various communication devices
- a high level of self-awareness, motivation, and organization
- having combat experience and military service experience will be an advantage
- completion of the necessary communications courses will be an advantage
Conditions:
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
- monetary allowance from 20,000 to 120,000 hryvnias depending on tasks and orders performed
- social guarantees, provision of gear and necessary equipment
- guaranteed annual main leave (2 parts of 15 days each) and the possibility of additional leave for family circumstances
- support in a friendly team of motivated, active, proactive soldiers and reasonable commanders
- processing of Combat Veteran status and other benefits
